Scämmit workshop
Who am I ?
My name is Johanna. I have been a Bordeaux for recently.
Stylist-modist is not my 1st job but one thing is certain, I have always loved doing things with my hands. Small, I spent my time creating objects.
Of all the materials used, of all proven techniques, it is ultimately the seam that I prefer: work of volumes, aesthetic choices (harmony of colors, materials, shapes), and meticulousness of manual work.
Bac + 5 in my pocket and only after 1 year in the world of work, I decide to resume my studies to add creative strings to my bow: Stylist-modernist first (one-year-old training in Greta de la Paris + internship mode at Chloé and at the Prairies de Paris), and then graphic designer (evening class of the Paris City Hall).
But not easy to find a job that compiles all this ... I then turn to the luxury industry, attracted by its cutting -edge crafts. For 8 years, I occupy an exciting position between salesperson and project manager.
But I miss the handmade ...
Pregnant with my 1st child, I discover the blogosphere and I immediately hang on: this is the ideal playground to combine doing with the hand, graphics and photo. All that I love.
My blog was born in March 2013.
Then everything accelerates.
My models are a little success, but "patronizing" in my corner becomes frustrating.
The idea is there: launch my brand of patterns. And the urge, growing.
It was only missing a momentum: our departure from Paris will sign the launch of my brand of bosses in 2015.
And since then, I have been working passionately at full time!
My values
If sewing speaks to me so much, it is also certainly in reaction to the whole "disposable": to avoid frantic consumption, to buy less ephemeral fashion, to favor quality to quantity.
Sewing is also the best way to empty your head while having fun, and to reconnect to an ancestral know-how in this virtual world.
